An electronic document is strictly identical to the banking document that you usually receive by post. For example, there is no difference between an electronic bank statement and a traditional paper bank statement.

All bank documents usually sent by BIL, such as account statements, periodic statements, credit card statements, debit, credit and other advices, etc. are available in an electronic version on BILnet.

With paper-free your account statements and documents are generated at the correspondence frequency you have determined.

Furthermore, all advices (debit, credit, stock market order confirmations) are generated and made available in BILnet within just 24 hours of the transaction.
Lastly, using the debit advice on request function means you will receive your debit advices immediately

How do I obtain a debit advice to send to the Caisse de Maladie (Health Fund) or an authority such as the tax office?
When you perform your transaction, make sure you tick the “debit advice” box. Your debit advice will be available the following day, in the electronic documents section.
Would you like to receive a debit advice on request immediately after performing a transfer? Make sure you do not tick the “debit advice” box when entering your transaction, otherwise you will have to wait until the next day to get the advice.
You can actually generate a debit advice on request in real time. How? Go to either the list of transfers or transactions on your account, and choose the transaction for which you want a debit advice on request. Within a few seconds you will find the debit advice in your electronic documents
